The Thimble Islands Ferry District has signed a contract with Captain Bill Smith of Branford, CT.
Captain Bill has purchased a 23 foot Navy Utility lauch which can carry 14-18 passengers pending a USCG stabilty test . The dock phone will remain the same (203 483-6659). If you are in need of ferry service you should talk to Captain Bill Smith.
Captain Bob is willing to help out in any capacity he can and if islanders are in need of moving larger groups to their island we can be available in a private charter capacity and in conjunction with the new ferry service.
